Roofing Services
Your roof protects your home from the elements. Over time your roof will take on a lot of wear and tear. Roof leaks are a common issue in Maryland. Especially after heavy rain, a leak could be caused due to cracked/damaged flashing, broken or torn shingles, a damaged skylight, chimney cracks, and more. Sometimes a repair can help, but eventually, it will result in a roof replacement.
Not sure if you need a repair or a full replacement? No problem! We’ll assess your roof and make a recommendation based on our free inspection.
You may need a new roof if:
– Your roof is over 15 years old.
– You found water damage on your ceiling or interior walls.
– Shingles are missing or falling off of your roof.
– You notice your energy bill getting higher and higher.
– There’s obvious damage from a weather event.
A full roof replacement involves:
– Stripping all of the old shingles from the roof down to decking.
– Installing an ice/water barrier and drip edge.
– Applying synthetic underlayment to the roof deck.
Securing starter shingles to the roof’s perimeter.
– Ensuring all flashing has been replaced.
– Installing new shingles on top of the underlying components.
– Installing hip & ridge cap shingles and all remaining accessories.
